Black Bean Turkey Chili
2 Medium Onions, Chopped
1 Sweet Red Pepper, Finely Chopped
4 Garlic Cloves, Minced
1 pound Ground Turkey
2 15-ounce cans of Black Beans
1 Can of 14 oz. Crushed Tomatoes
1 Cup Tomato Sauce
2 tbs. Tomato Paste
2 tbs. Masa Flour or Cornstarch
1 Cup Beer (optional)
1 tbs. Chopped Chiles or Small Can Green Chiles
1 tbs. Chili Powder
1 tsp. Cumin
1 tsp. Coriander
1/2 tsp. Cayenne
1 tsp. Salt
1/4 Cilantro, Chopped
Saute Onion, Garlic, Red Pepper in Olive Oil in Dutch oven on medium high. Stir constantly until vegetables are soft. Add ground turkey and cook until meat is done. Add black beans, tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, flour water mixture and beer. Let simmer 30 minutes and serve.
